When The Night Comes





















In the darkness, I find the depths of my mind,
I feel the dominion over me, a sway to which I'll always lose.
She burns inside my soul, a danger I need to face,
Perhaps I'll never know, but Her power leads me there.

In Her presence, the night turns into day,
She whispers from the darkness, "You belong to me."
Yet, I wonder, how do I find the shelter of Her mind?
Will She see me, or will I fade? In Her realm, I find my place.

Here I kneel, before You now, and in Your service, I find my way,
With Your needs, I seek Your grace, a man set free.
In Your presence, I know the strength of the universe,
In Your mind, I feel the pull of a Goddess I am unable to comprehend.

It is the world that put me here, but tell me why,
Tell me how to manage the distance and the space.
Your willing servant, true and tall,
I am aligned with all that is right, so take my soul into Your mind.

Believe in all that is true, even with demons of the past,
Take my reverence deep inside, I will promise all I can.
Own me, lead me, guide me, and most of all, keep me special,
The one who You will never question, now and forever.
